Why Maxicuma
Curcumin is the most researched constituent of turmeric, trusted in Ayurveda for 4,000 years for the joints, the muscles and immunity. But raw turmeric holds only 2 to 3% curcumin, and less than 1% of a dose reaches the blood as free curcumin, the form that actually works. Maxicuma® is formulated to address this bioavailability challenge with BioRelay™ true water solution, so more free curcumin reaches systemic circulation.
Curcumin has poor aqueous solubility, which limits its absorption.
Curcumin has limited stability in gastrointestinal conditions, and is rapidly metabolised.
What is absorbed is quickly converted into inactive forms.
Not all “curcumin” measurements represent free curcumin.
The approach
BioRelay™ true water solution, powered by LIMAN™, microencapsulates the curcuminoids in lecithin, for better dispersion, stability in the acidic environment of the gut, and better absorption as more free curcumin.
Lecithin-based microencapsulation improves aqueous dispersion.
Stable in the acidic gut environment, with less breakdown.
Improved bioavailability: more free curcumin in systemic circulation, effective at a low dose.
The evidence
Two human studies, both published: how well Maxicuma® is absorbed, and what it does for the joints.

Know your ingredient
Curcuma longa, trusted in Ayurveda for 4,000 years and known for liver, muscle, joint, immune and skin support. Of its hundred-odd molecular constituents, curcumin is the most researched, and it makes up only 2 to 3% of the rhizome. High doses are needed for efficacy, yet 90% is excreted. Maxicuma®, our ultra low dose curcumin formulated with BioRelay™ technology and backed by science, resolves the high-dose, low-absorption problem: a consumer-friendly curcumin for healthy joints.
Extracted from the Curcuma longa rhizome and formulated with lecithin-based microencapsulation.
Better aqueous dispersibility.
Compact, synergistic formulations.
Low dose combined with dispersion opens more formulation options.
Curcumin built for formulation convenience and a great consumer experience.
Formulation
Curcuma longa extract, microencapsulated in a lecithin-based coating and standardized to NLT 40% curcuminoids, with instant cold-water dispersibility and a neutral taste. 100 or 250 mg a day.
